About Us - Noah's Ark Preschool

Noah’s Ark Preschool and Extended Program is a service to our community and functions under the guidance of the Preschool Director and pastoral leadership of the South Bay Church of God.

Mission/Vision Statement:

Just like God instructed Noah to build an ark for the safety and preservation of his family, Noah’s Ark is a place where children can find refuge in a safe, loving environment to learn, grow, and play.

We are dedicated to enriching the lives of children, families, and the community through services that promote spiritual, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Philosophy:

The philosophy of this program is to provide a developmentally and academically appropriate environment with a Christian emphasis for young children.

Included In Tuition:

We include two nutritious snacks for all preschoolers and a hot lunch daily.

Extended Program:

Our School Age program has time set aside for homework, Bible stories, crafts, and enrichment activities. We offer before and after care .Because we are open year-round, there may be an occasional field trip during non-school days.

For children who go to Yukon Elementary school, our staff walk the children to the school in the morning and pick up the children after school. Our Extended program tuition includes a full day program for most of the days when Yukon Elementary is closed, except legal holidays, staff in- service days and Christmas break. We offer Spring Break camp and Summer camp. For more information or to schedule a tour please email or call us.

Preschool:

Our preschool program is for children  2 years to 5 years of age. We offer a five, three, or two days program. For more information or to schedule a tour please email or call us.

Curriculum:

Noah’s Ark utilizes creative, theme-based curriculum that is age-appropriate.

Chapel:

The preschool classes meet for Chapel time on Fridays at 9:00 AM. It is a time where the children learn about who Jesus is and what he came into the world to do. The curriculum used for Chapel is the Bible. Our teachers teach about the people and places that shaped the world of Christianity. They sing songs of praise and worship and learn how to talk to God.
